Phoenix Women go on European Tour

Through fundraising efforts by the Phoenix Fast Break Club, the women's basketball
team, coaching staff and support staff embarked on an 11-day tour of Europe in
May that took the team through Amsterdam, Brussells and Paris. The team played
six games against European competition, winning four of the six games.
The trip began the day after graduation ceremonies on May 14.
Everyone had a great time and it was a learning experience that exposed the girls
to different cultures and customs. Who knew that you had to pay to use a restroom
everywhere in Europe?!?
